Got what could be some good news yesterday. The CDC lifted Covid testing requirements for cruises.
I was concerned because currently you need to either be tested at the dock with a negative result or show proof of a negative test taken no more than two days before the cruise. I’ve never tested positive for Covid, but it could happen at the wrong time. If you or anyone in your party tests positive your entire party will not be allowed on the ship.
Now the CDC has lifted the pre-boarding tests. Disney has not yet stopped the testing, but it’s only been one day. Since the test requirement has been the biggest reason some people aren’t cruising, I’m guessing Disney will drop the test by the time my cruise begins in November.
